F yodor Dostoevsky (also spelled Dostoyevsky) is renowned as one of the world’s greatest novelists and literary psychologists. His works grapple with deep political, social, and religious issues while delving into the often tortured psychology of characters. Rodion, the main character, is a former student who lives in a tiny run down apartment building. Although he is poor and dressed in rags, Rodion is a handsome, intelligent young man. He is contemplating committing an awful crime but the nature of this crime is not very clear. Throughout the story he learns to deal with problems while meeting a variety of personalities along he way. the cast include:Marmeladov,Sonya,his mother, Pulcheria Alexandrovna, his sister, Dunya, and more.
